According to reports, from October 2018 to now, the Chengdu Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology has been constructed in conjunction with the “Tongjin Bridge Listed Land Project” of the Urban Qingyang District Guotou Construction and Development Co., Ltd., and the site has been excavated for archaeological excavation with an area of about 2000. Square meters. A section of the bauxite and brick masonry of the ancient city wall was found, which was east-west and slightly curved, and the west side wall was well preserved. Can be divided into two periods of the Tang and Five Dynasties and the Qing Dynasty.

据介绍，2018年10月至今，成都市文物考古研究所为配合成都市青羊区国投建设发展有限公司“通锦桥上市土地项目”建设，对该地块进行了考古发掘，发掘面积约2000平方米。发现了一段古城墙的夯土和包砖砌石部分，为东西走向，略呈弧形，其中西侧城墙保存较好。可分为唐五代、清代两个时期。

The excavation work of the city wall further supplemented the data for studying the changing process, location and construction methods of Chengdu ancient city wall in different periods, and provided rare physical materials for studying the urban and social aspects of Chengdu.

此次城墙的发掘工作，为研究成都古城墙不同时期的变迁过程、位置和修建方式等进一步补充了资料，对研究成都城市与社会面貌提供了不可多得的实物资料。
